The Beginning

Thanks to our local farmers we have been able to get plants in the ground. The following vendors at the Kittitas County Farmer’s Market contributed starts for our garden: Parke Creek Farm, Cloudview Ecofarm, Michael’s Garden, and European Farm & Garden. Julie Reveles donated marigolds in honor of her mother. Thank you for your support!

Kaeley has put in a lot of hard work helping to organize intern work parties to prepare the soil for planting. The weeds were taking over! Thank you Kaeley, Sara, Molly, Kelsi, and Austin for giving up your Sunday mornings so the chimpanzees can have a beautiful garden this summer. Here’s hoping the summer of 2012 will be sunny and fruitful!
